FAQ

Is prickly pear seed oil good for oily or acne-prone skin?

Yes ... despite being an oil, prickly pear seed oil is high in linoleic acid, which is generally well tolerated by oily and acne-prone skin (unlike oleic-acid-heavy oils, which can feel heavier). It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residue or sit heavily on the skin, so most skin types can use it comfortably.

How should I store it, and does it expire?

Cold-pressed oils are sensitive to light, heat, and air exposure, all of which speed up oxidation. Store the bottle away from direct sunlight and heat, and keep the cap tightly closed after use. Most cold-pressed facial oils are best used within 6–12 months of opening for freshness.

How soon will I see results?

Most people notice their skin feels softer and more hydrated within the first 1–2 weeks of consistent use. Visible improvements in texture and radiance typically build over 4–6 weeks, since facial oils work gradually alongside your skin's natural renewal cycle rather than overnight. For best results, use it consistently at nigh and pair with SPF during the day.
